Backyard Wonderland: Creating a Kids Play Space In Your Backyard

Having children made me look at my home's backyard from a whole new perspective. As my little ones started walking, I began to see how I could turn my backyard into a playground that was safe and secure for them to play. After spending a lot of time researching the safety and stability of the play structures and materials that were out there, I built a play area that's secure and fun for my kids. I created this site to share all of the ideas that I had as well as some other things I've found over the years to help other parents create the perfect play space to bring the family together at home.

Repairing Damage To Your Pool's Screen Enclosure

There are many pools that will have a screen enclosure around them. Despite this being a common feature, there are people that may not be very well informed about this part of their pool.

Pool Screen Enclosure Can Provide Important Benefits

There are several benefits that a pool's screen enclosure can provide. One of the most important will be the ability of the enclosure to keep pests and insects away from the pool. This can make the pool area a far more enjoyable place to spend time. Unlike glass enclosures, a screen enclosure will allow for good air circulation.

Rips And Tears Are The Most Common Types Of Screen Enclosure Damage

A pool screen enclosure can be extremely effective, but it can be vulnerable to suffering significant damage that could negatively impact its performance. In particular, rips and tears are among the more common types of damage that can occur. These issues will allow small gaps to be created that could allow pests to pass through the enclosure. Having tree branches or bushes growing too close to the screen enclosure can be one common source of this damage. During storms or on windy days, the branches from these plants may rub against the screen, which could easily damage it. To prevent this from occurring, these plants should be trimmed so that they will be unlikely to be able to come into physical contact with the enclosure.

Repairs To The Pool Screen Enclosure Can Be Highly Targeted

When there is damage to the screen enclosure for your pool, there will be repair options that may be used to address these issues. However, a person may be hesitant about investing in these repairs due to assuming that they will always be very involved and costly. In most cases, the repairs to a pool screen enclosure will not be very lengthy or costly. Rather, a screened pool repair contractor will be able to assess the damage that has occurred and replace the damaged screen while leaving the other screen panels undisturbed. This type of repair can be one of the most efficient solutions for restoring the effectiveness of the pool's enclosure after it has been damaged.

A screen enclosure around your pool can make it a far more comfortable place to be by keeping pests away from it. However, a pool's screen enclosure that has suffered damage will need to be repaired in order to keep it effective. In this regard, a person may want to invest in having a professional contractor complete any damages that may occur to the pool enclosure and have any tree branches or bushes trimmed away from it.
